Privacy Policy

What information we collect, why we collect it, and how it is protected.

Last updated: 11 October 2026 · Applies to www.fmps.in and the school application.

Future Memorial Public School (the School, we, us) operates this website and the school application (the App). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and the choices available to parents, guardians and students.

By using this website or the App, you agree to this policy. If you do not agree with it, please do not use the website or the App.

1. Information we collect

a) Information you give us

  • Enquiries. When you use the enquiry form or write to the school office, we receive your name, email address, telephone number and the contents of your message.
  • Admissions. When you apply for admission, we collect the student's name, date of birth, the class applied for, guardian and contact details, and the documents required for admission (Aadhar card, birth certificate, transfer certificate and the previous year's report card).

b) Information recorded in the school app

Once a student is admitted, the School maintains student and guardian records in the App. These include the student's name, admission number, class and section, attendance, homework and assignments, examination results, timetables, fee and payment records, and messages exchanged with teachers.

c) Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our server records basic technical information such as the IP address, browser type, the pages visited and the date and time of a visit in its server logs. This is used to keep the website secure and working correctly.

2. Information about children

The App contains information about students, including children. That information is created and maintained by the School for academic and administrative purposes, is supplied by parents or guardians or by School staff, and is accessible only to the student's own family and to staff who need it for their work. Parents and guardians may ask to review or correct it.

We do not use children's information for advertising, and we do not sell it.

3. How we use information

  • to respond to enquiries and process admissions;
  • to run day-to-day academics: attendance, homework, timetables, examinations and results;
  • to manage fees, receipts and school accounts;
  • to send notices, circulars and other information to parents;
  • to keep the website and the App secure and working correctly;
  • to meet legal, accounting and regulatory obligations.

4. Payments

Online payments are processed by our payment gateway partner, Razorpay. When you pay online, your payment details — such as card number, UPI identifier or net-banking credentials — are entered on the gateway's secure page and are handled by the gateway.

The School does not receive or store your full card number, CVV or banking passwords. We receive only a confirmation of the payment and a transaction reference, which we keep with the fee record. The gateway's own privacy policy applies to the information you give to it directly.

5. Sharing of information

We do not sell or rent personal information. We share it only:

  • with service providers who help us run the website, the App, email and payments — for example our hosting provider, email provider and payment gateway — and only as much as is needed for that purpose;
  • with School staff who need the information for their work;
  • where we are required to do so by law, by a court or by a government authority, or where it is necessary to protect the rights and safety of students and staff.

6. Cookies and local storage

This website uses only what it needs to work. The App stores a sign-in token in your browser or on your device so that you stay signed in between visits. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

7. How long we keep information

Student academic records are kept for as long as the student is enrolled and afterwards for as long as the law and the School's record-keeping rules require. Enquiry messages and server logs are kept only for as long as they are needed for the purpose they were collected for, and are then removed.

8. How we protect information

Access to the App and to student records is limited by role-based sign-in. Passwords are stored in hashed form and are never returned to a browser or emailed to you. Connections to the website and the App are encrypted using HTTPS. No system can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect the information we hold.

9. Your choices and rights

You may ask to see the information we hold about you or your child, ask us to correct anything that is wrong, ask us to delete information (where we are not required to keep it), or withdraw your consent for us to contact you about anything other than school matters.

To make a request, email Futurepublicschool125@gmail.com or call +91 70842 31023. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we may not be able to delete records that we are legally required to keep.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The revised version will be published on this page with a new "last updated" date.
